TZN Test

The C-K Sentence Completion Test is a tool to test the attitudes of car drivers.

It is based on the projective nature of sentence endings, triggered by a low degree of ‘structuring’ of the beginning of a sentence. Completing the sentence with a first thought associated with the beginning of a sentence reflects the real (often unconscious) emotional relationship of a participant to the presented phenomena (objects, people) and gives information on their possible reactions in specific traffic situations.

Test includes two important components of the attitude: 

• emotional attitude (emotional factor)
• behaviors, reactions towards the subject of attitude (behavioral factor)

It is assumed that the basic knowledge about the principles of road traffic and the essence of road phenomena (cognitive factor) is at a similar level among the participants (gaining relevant knowledge learned from the driving course and mass media).
